Kasper Karup
Founder of Breathe to Flow & Breath-Coach
I'm Kasper, an experienced and certified breathing-coach with over 20 years of practice in breathwork, yoga, and holistic well-being.
Originally from Denmark, I now live in the breathtaking Andes Mountains of Peru with my family.
My work is focused on addressing the challenges faced by the modern working individual. Having experienced a severe burnout myself, I understand the pressures and lack of clear tools to manage stress. My mission is to support others in similar situations, providing effective techniques and guidance to navigate and overcome these challenges.
One of the most common feedback I receive is, "You're so incredibly calm, how do you do it?" Let me show you. I can teach you the basics of how I've achieved this calm through some remarkable tools and techniques that I've honed over the years.
The Story
The idea of "Breathe to Flow" began in my early twenties when I tried a yoga breathing exercise for the first time. The immediate and powerful change I experienced in my state and emotions was life-changing. It shifted my understanding of what it means to be human, revealing that we are not powerless beings at the mercy of our emotions and reactions. Instead, we possess built-in mechanisms to maintain balance and achieve a state of flow, with breathing being the most powerful.

The term "being in flow" often carries historical baggage and is sometimes misused. For me, it describes a life where we accept what is, make decisions from our deepest intuition, and tap into our innate creative powers at will. This aligns with Stoic philosophy, which teaches us to embrace the present moment, focus on what we can control (for example your breathing), and let go of what we cannot.

Breathing is crucial to living in flow because it sits at the intersection of the mind and body. It serves as the control mechanism for our state of being. Your breathing influences whether you're agitated, aggressive, calm, or centered. Specific breathing patterns can immediately and directly affect your nervous system, altering your entire state of being.

Many people overlook the power of breath and its potential to transform their state of being. I can teach you how to harness this power, tapping into a natural ability that many have forgotten. By learning to control your breath, you can achieve balance and flow in your life.

I can teach you to tap into this innate power that all humans have,
but most have forgotten.
As the saying goes, "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."
